Ad hoc mode Internet access on PSP

I have a PC with a wirless network card and broadband connection.
Will I be able to connect a PSP in Ad hoc mode to browse the internet.

I know you can share an Internet connection between PC's in adhoc mode using 'shared internet', has anyone tried this with a PSP.

Only reason Im asking is I dont want to spend extra money buying a wireless router and using the normal method with infrastructure mode.

Er, I think you've made a mistake,

Ad Hoc mode is only for multiplayer gaming (from 2 to 16 PSP). It's only usable when ther're two PSPs or more.

AND... Infrastructure mode is for Online Update and Web Surfing (for PSP v2.0 or higher). A broadband router or a hotspot is required.
