what Firmware do I need to play these backups:
1.Dynasty Warriors
2.Tony Hawks underground 2 remix
3.Burnout Legens
4.Socom US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo
5.Star Wars Battlefront 2

can I play backed up games on a firmware of 2.0?

no

you can only play backups on firmware 1.00 and 1.50

but in order to use online you need 2.0 to 2.60 because of sonys dnas sorry

no i mean the latest version of firmware 2.60 and the older firmware version 2.50 and 2.00 there is no 2.01 there is a 2.02 though

Oh you are right, they just came out with 2.6, because when I was at Sonys site they still had 2.5 up yesterday!!! And yes there was a 2.1! It came whith a Sample disk from Sony I recived in the Mail!!!

For Dynasty Warriors, THUG2, and Burnout I know you only need 1.5. I don't think socom works, and I think Battlefront might work.

The ones that I said can be played using either umd emulator, or fast loader.
