Hi there, I used to make backups of my dvds with nero recode and burnt them to dvd + R/W media without any playback problems whatsoever but of late have only been able to play those burnt on dvd + R media. My player is a Samsung HD850. It will play avi on dvd R/W media though. I set the book type to dvd R/W as the HD850 won't play burnt dvd's with book type set to dvd rom. It also seems odd that only udf/ iso DVD format won't play on DVD R/W media, When avi's will?? Also Nero recomends setting book type to DVD ROM for max compatibility with most players. Which players are compatible with dvd rom book type? I'm using Nero 7 a samsung TSH552U writer and samsung HD850 player .... chairs and tables
