I have a Sony 30" wide screen monitor(tube) that I use to play my 360 on, and I just realized all my set supports is 1080i. Now Im just wondering if the up converter in the 360 would be better or the one in the Sony. Im pretty sure having the 360 do it bogs it down, Ive had occasional frame rate issues in Call of Duty when the 360 was handleing the upconverting. So I guess Im asking which upconverter does a better job.

I would stick with the upconverter on your t.v. It should adjust it where you need it. I have the same problem with 720p 360 games on my t.v. dont have on both

yea thats what i was thinking, the only real difference i see is the 360 getting bogged down by the extra demand on it if its in 1080i mode
