you need to use the PAR file(s).. Use Par if you have it.. sometimes you get Par,Par2 etc.. Start with PAR, QuickPar with do the rest. In any case, use whatever PAR you have.. To doublecheck after QuickPar finishes repairing, use the SFV. quickPar handles SFV too.
No problem :P Oh btw, just leave QuickPar to do the repair.. it tends to use alot of CPU cycles at least for me. so I usually go get a snack or something during the repair.
oH and sometimes QuickPar might not be able to repair all the rars ; you might not have enuff Pars or the uploader didnt include them. Which is a pain in the ass.. you usually hafta to redownload the missing/damaged Rar in that case.you can always request pars to be uploaded but alotta newsgroup uploaders either wont if they dont know you or have a 'policy against filling requests' . In that case, check back to the original post again , sometimes the uploader will upload the pars later.
