I've been reading lots about how make azureus download up to 300kbs i have not been able to do this can anyone plz take the time to tell me and friends how to do this step by step in lay. terms. Most of the threads make references to routers which i have not got as a i am not wireless. Can this still be done with azureus.

well, let's take it from the top....what is your connection speed?
You are only going to reack 300kb/s on a 3meg+ line....

Thanks for your quick reply, i have 2 meg at the moment should be getting three soon hopefully.

well then, even if you had a load of fantastic seeds and were running at optimum speeds, you will only max at about 250kb/s

yeah , i discovered that one , used 1mb for 1yr and now upgraded to 10mb
get some awesome speeds using torrentleech .
@neroboy
depends mainly on the seeder to leecher ratio , you need a very high number of seeders to achieve maximum speed

yep NTL , top speed is roughly 9.7mb , im based in york and the minimum the speed drops to at peak times is 6mb not bad really ,

lol, yes. We all do. But you need too search at AD more. All ur answers are already here. Please look b4 posting, not trying to be rude, but sick of the same questions that can be resolved by reading previous posts, that's how most of us learned the way's of the BIT.

on Azureus go to tools > options then change the port number to 49152 ,
remember to allow it in your firewall
