As an utter noob to the LCD TV scene, I'd really appreciate if someone could clear up a question I'm stumped by... and yeah, I looked through google etc. ad nausium but couldn't find a straight answer.
I have a dedicated 17" LCD computer monitor - it has no problem with image burn/ghosting. But I purchased a 15" LCD Television, because in addition to component input and being HD ready, it has VGA input as well, enabling it to function as a computer monitor. But reading through the operating instructions, there was a warning about video games and other fixed images burning into the LCD (this is the same warning that old-school projection/"gun" TV's used to carry).
So does anyone have the answer to this? Should I avoid using the TV as a PC monitor, and even more importantly, will video games harm my new TV? And why does my LCD computer monitor not have any of these limitations? Any help/sage advice would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks!

It should be fine, I know in the newer airports they have TVs as monitors and they only have a gohsting problem if it has been on that picture for like 3-4 weeks

No your new LCD tv has no chance off burn-in. Its the same as your LCD monitor except it has typical tv inputs and an analog tuner.
