Hi well im really into the whole psp scene lately ive heard that you can back up lets say umds using fastloader 7 by using its dump iso function, how do i then convert that and using what program to make it into and iso playable file which i can access through my memory stick duo? also is it possible to play grand theft auto on version 1.5 using this method? any feedback is greatly appriciated. oh check out romguy.com or rom-world.com for thousands of playable roms.

My answers:

1. Use UMD Generator to regenerate it to an ISO file. I think the newest version is v1.01.

2. GTA:LCS is unplayable in PSP v1.5, but they're still finding a way to crack it out.

well thats useful to know thanks, so what games are playable using this method? i already have a heap of them from ebay so are there going to be others released or is it a case of updating when i want to play games like gta:lcs as wab 2.5 wont bypass the game so annoying

Most of the games are playable using fastloader in PSP v1.5. Some of them need some specific loaders...

Ok thanks again, so what other usful tips and loaders or programs are out there, i reverted my psp back to 1.50 i run homebrew genisis and snes on it with roms from romguy.com and rom-world.com, im also running wab 2.5 in the background to let me play grecsky hockey, and im also running fastloader seven ive dumped gta:lsc on my pc and its ready to convert but if theres no way to play it yet then i'll wait out. What other programs are good and not good as ive alkinds from different sites such as umdgen 1.2 umd emulator (v8). how do i change my back grounds to be my pictures ive heard thats possible?

If you used Fastloader 7 to dump the game, and the whole game fit onto your memory stick, then you don't have to do anything except rename the file to whatever.iso

As a matter of fact Fasloader and UMD Emulator 0.8c don't need the dot ISO extension.

If you had to split the file, then open a dos box navigate to the directory with the split files and use copy /b part1+part2 game.iso

ok well i tryed that method didint work so i unpacked the iso file using WinRAR then i used some other method to make the iso file again all i need to know is does gta work on v1.5 if so write a step by step on the method u used cheers
