I was thinking about buying one of the Ceramic WHITE GIGA PACK psp's on ebay from hong kong. It has version 2.50 on it. I plan on homebrewing games and movies, would this be a bad idea? Can i still do everything guys like us here on afterdawn would want to do?

No. No homebrew, nothing. Screw the white ceramic giga pack, just get the American black giga pack and save yourself the at least $50 and get it in a better color. PSP (and PS2's) just don't belong as white.
