Hi i Made a backup of Tony Hawk American Wasteland, I patched the .iso image with the correct DNAS information beforehand so i can play it online. I followed the directions at this webpage

http://on-line.ps2nfo.com/

to the letter so im confident i did everything as I should Have.

When i go to boot the game with swap magic 2.0 DVD it loads the "Activision" screen and it show the opening Movie for the game perfectly but when it goes to actually load the game the loading bar fills up but it freezes after doing so.. I used HP DVD-R to burn the game an im sure its not the media because i have other backups that I made in the past on this media that boot perfectly. After my intial failed attempts I used "DVD Zone Loader" to boot it and it does the same thing when i gets to the initial load screen. I wanted to know ig anyone at this forum has had success with playing a backup version of this game with the swap magic 2.0 DVD disk.. If you were successful using a certain boot disk please post it here i would greatly appreciate it. Im not sure if its the disks but im hearing that the 2.0 swap magic disks are becoming dated and work less frequently with the newer games if so I guess i have to go out and buy the updated disks but if someone was succesful it could save me the expense..

I've gotten this game to work perfectly with Sony 8X DVD-R, using Swap Magic 3.6. I've never used 2.0 but I keep hearing that it is worthless. Might be time for an upgrade. Also, you might've had success in the past with those HP discs, but you might want to think about getting better media: Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony or Philips.

I have a backed up copy of American Wasteland with sm2.0 and don't have any problems. I got lucky with crap memosux brand dvd+r, and haven't had any problems. You might want to try better media, though. I just used the straight backup method with dvd decryptor.
