Names Josh. I'm a huge metalhead, whatever kind, and I'd love to give vocals a shot. Whether it be a fresh band with no experience formed out of the blue, or an established (or somewhat established) band looking for a vocalist. I'm pretty sick when I scream consistently, not so much so with clean vocals (still not as bad as some singy chorus bands) but I'm working on it. I could do lyrics but I'd rather it be a group effort.

I'm looking for a sound along the lines of Chimaira, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Caliban, God Forbid, Soilwork etc.. but with some lovely metal guitar work ala Arch Enemy and some progressive guitar ala Opeth or something. But still--Massive breakdowns. Lots of songs structured for live shows. Can be melodic or not, doesn't matter to me. Just have to see how it goes.

I'll be in the Canton/Akron/Massillon area for the month so let me know, for sure, if there's any interest within a convenient distance.
