Hey guys, my cousin tried to convert VOB (DVD) files to MP4 (playable format in PSP) using PSPVIDEO9, double passes. It didn't work!

It only works with single pass... Why this happens only to VOB files?

And he tried to convert other format of videos using double passes, it works.

What should he do to make pspvideo9 supports double passes mode for VOB files?

Didn't you know?

Double passes increses quality and decreases video size (compares with single pass)

also pspvideo 9 you need to be carefull with some dvd videos are converted into VOB files the VOB plays fine and in english on any dvd player software but when you convert it to mpeg 4 it goes into spanish french or german

here is a list of dvd's that don't work due to voice overs or subtiiles or language differrences

1.brian de palmas (phantom of the paradise i my self have tried this one over and over again with no successfull conversion the sound never matches up with what is being shown on screen weird)

2.the muppets emmet otters jug band christmas (it converts the dvd into the VOB just fine and plays the VOB in english but when converted the mpeg 4 is then in spanish not in english like the VOB is in order to successfully convert this movie you need to decode the dvd to the hard drive delete using DVD Shrink the tracks of sound for spanish and french then burna dvd r of the movie with spanish and french disabled then re decode the dvd to a new directory and then convert it into a mpeg 4

I dont get why people watch entire movies on their psp. I'd prefer to use that mem space on a game or three... I do have a couple of music videos and some short video clips of friends and family but I mainly suse my psp for games :p guess it might be handy if you are going on a long trip ??
