Got myself the GTA San Andreas Multi5 mdf/mds files.
Extracted it with Ultra-Iso and made a new iso again with Ultraiso.
File is 4294 mb total. When i burn it with 2,4 speed at nero 6.6.012
and plextor dvd burner it is complete and fine says nero. I verified it.
But the pstwo slim supplied with swap magic 3.6 won't run it. It says: "not a valid ps2 disc". I havn't found a patch for this game so i thought it will run. Other games like Burnout 3 and Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition backed up the same way and worked, but this one not :(

I am using TDK dvd+r discs

Please help me out

Fixed this baby !
It is an Alcohol image for a REASON, rebuilding to an iso doesn't work. Installed alcohol and used philips dvd+r on 2,3x speed on alcohol. Messed up two discs but now works like a charm !

An MDF/MDS image, that mostly likely will only read on the Alcohol 120% dvd/cd burning program.

GTA: SA don't need to rebuild period. Just open up DVD Decrypter and choose the MDS file and burn that baby. Easy as smonkin'!! Even my son can beat the whole game in roughly 4 hrs.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Yeah I agree. Back up GTASA on good media and it should be fine. Swap Magic works well. Just burn with DVD Decrypter on good media. Mds and mdf files are images created with Alcohol 120%. They can be burned with Alcohol or DVD Decrypter.

1. Q. How do I burn PS2 games?
A. Use DVD Decrypter. Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.

2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?
A. YES: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/240341
If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, Dynex, Princo, Bulqpaq, etc.
CMC Magnetics is garbage. Need proof (Thanks to Alkohol):
