problems with RAR files

hey guys... i just downloaded burnout 3, and when i try to extract all the files (from ".001 - ".066), it always prompts me saying it needs file ".001.r00
i can see the .iso file inside the RAR, but b/c of this problem i cant extract it completly. someone help me out please! thanks!

try dragging the iso and drop it in dvd decryptor

it gave the same error... one thing worth mentioning is that when i downloaded the files, they didnt have the .rar extension, i put that on myself. could there be some other file format?

why are you messing around with the file extension?
what were they originally?
click on the very first file,and try extract it from there

originally the file was just burnout3.001... how am i supposed to extract the iso file from such an extension?!

alrite guys i got the iso file, and i burned it on a dvd but my ps2 isnt reading it... i have a mod chip. does it matter what company dvd i use?

reset your ps2 when that message comes up, mine says that sometimes so i just reset it and then it reads it.

DO NOT mess with file extensions!
The .001 .002 thing is fine and you do not need a .rar. just use winrar to open the .001 file and extract it.
Or associate Winrar with .001 files and extract.

Hi All files with the extension 001, 002, 003 are HjSplit or some file splitter. To extract the file correctly you need the complete collection of files, do a google for HjSplit.

or just look at the sticky's on this page,
it never seems to surpass me,that the term " try engaging the brain before engaging the mouth,or in the case the "typing fingers",is constantly overlooked

u cannot put gt4 on a regular dvd u have to do some complicated stuff to make it work.
