Hi i am planning to download the sxt changer to try gta lcs b4 i sell it..... now i need to know is that when i run the program on my 1.5 psp and make the fake firmware '' 2.0'' how do u get it back to the orignal version????

Just open it back up, then click the button that corresponds with the firmware that you want it to be changed to.

heh...I wouldnt bother, because even when you trick to 2.0 it wont load GTA for you.

the only way to play GTA at the moment is to upgrade to 2.0 "normally" and when you finished with it downgrade back to 1.5...

either that, or you can wait for a GTA loader, which may happen one day :)

The FW Faker, as it really is, FAKES the FW by making the system think it's 2.01 or something instead of 1.50. The original idea was thaat if you had 1.50 and a game required 2.00, there were two ways:
1. use t3h faxx0r
2. load +3h 150 |04d0r w1+ UMD EMULATOR an|) 3l1m1n4+3 t3h upgrade

HOWEVER... times have changed. $ONY have got around this with their invention of GAME ENCRYPTION and ERROR 5cb4fa-something-whatever.

So therefore, YOU CANNOT PLA GTA WITHOUT A REAL 2.00+ FW. Only they can decrypt GTA, SOCOM and HUSTLE.

Another bit of PSP HB Folklore... It was originally thought that pplz couldn't load t3h GTA coz t3h movies usethed da AVC Codec instead of t3h MPEG-4 Codec. Only 2.00+, yet again, could load AVC. But when they RIPPED out teh movs, it was still a prob...

now, us HBers can only wait of 2 possile ways of playin GTA.
1. They make a FW Loader, like SXT's BFM and MPH's.
2. They h4xx0r FW 2.50.
3. They find out how to get 2.00 EBOOT LOADER to run in kernel mode.

PS. Yes I am a geek and 5p34k 1337. who cares? It's my habit, i don't bag j00Rz.

Gee didn't the Program come with some *.nfo or readme.txt?? I thought most Teams did that much...

Then again for anyone who's ever tried to read on of Yoshis' Comments before I guess I could understand why the OP is asking for this... =\

One thing I think $onyhas been utterly $hit and sneaky in is NOT making fw versions of consoles and requirements of games clearly displayed. So many ppl are buying their psp without doing the research and saying "Oh noes ! me has a 2.5, now I cant play isos !"

ah well, I guess its their way of imposing the newer more "secure" firmware on customers. I'd think "1.0 and 1.5" are swear words in their securities/anti piracy dept at this time :p lolz
