hey, i just bought a 512mb memory for my psp and i wanted to know if i can get umds into my psp. if so can you tell me how. also i would like 2 know if i could rip my umds and put them as an iso.

1. Firstly you need a 1.0-1.50 firmware PSP - If you dont than playing isos off your memstick are NOT possible

2. Its a shame you got a 512mb card, 1gb cards are really not too expensive(especially at places like ebay) - alot of the newer games will just fit on a 512mb. As for storing two such games, forget about it.

3. If you do have a 1.0-1.50 psp, you will need a "UMD dumper" to dump it to your memstick. You will then need a Loader, like "UMD Emulator 8.0c" or even the "device hook" program to run these ripped isos.

there are heaps of guides and tutorials onto how to do all this, its very simple. try a place like psp-hacks as they have all the proggies as well. You'll probably fins some nice guides around here as well.

but basically, you really need to find out what firmware you have (this is done by going to the setiings>system settings>system information are of your psp)

1. If the game you dumped in question is too big, RIP IT with UMD Ripper. This will DRAMATICALLY reduce the size by ridding the Movies, Music, Sounds, Languages and Dummy Files. Yes, it's a shame you can't listen to your lovely tunes in NFS, but TOUGH LUCK.
