I have had problems burning dvd's with nero of late and i dont know if something is conflicting with the software.

I decrypt the dvd then shrink it with dvd shrink and then proceed to burn it thru nero and i get an error 20 - 30% whilst burning

I have tried to fix it by the process of elimination. Which includes latest versions of decypter, dvd shrink and nero. Firmware for the burner is up to date, windows is updated, the media i have is fine. Tried slowing down the burning process Have aspi installed, DMC is also enabled.

This is the report i get from nero on the burn error

@Bigfatboy

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

mentions TDK, but in a positive light, i.e. as first class media.
Is it the particular (TDK601 - saku) coding which is bad?

Also see some opinions here:
