I'm new here, this is my first post, so please be nice!

I am using Nero Vision Express 3 to convert live TV using my Avermedia capture card, and turn it into .mpg files. I can get the video no problem, but there is no sound.

From the main menu I am clicking capture video to hard drive. Right away live TV is displayed there. There is no sound here also, video preview is working, but should there be sound there, because there isnt. I hit the red record button, and let it run for 10 seconds or so. Then I hit Next button, and attempt to add an audio track. I hit the microphone button, and it shows the 10 second video clip I just recorded, but still I hear nothing, im assuming its a preview, and that the sounds there, its just not playing it. I try to time it perfectly, but I usually stop the audio a little after the video, so using the timeline, I adjust so audio fits video perfectly. Then I click Next, or export, and save it as an .mpg file. I am able to play the .mpg fine, but there is no sound in the finished file. Is there a checkbox I missed, what am I doing wrong?
