Ok, A little over a year ago I made an original xbox controller into a USB device by cutting a usb cable and splicing the wires of the usb cable and the xbox controller cable (actually the breakaway cable so i could still use the controller on the xbox with another breakaway cable).

Do you think there is any chance Xbox 360 will recognize this and I will be able to use it? Obviously I don't have the 360 yet, but come next shipment I hope to. Any thoughts?

Possibly but it is hard because the Xbox 360 controllers have the guide button and the buttons are in different places.

Do any of you're friends have an Xbox 360? If so ask them if you could test it out on theirs.

I just tried this, but it doesn't seem to recognise the controller. The headset lights work, but the controller doesn't. hmmm, any ideas anyone?

Yeah I havn't got my 360 yet. But this sunday the best buy by my me gets some in so i hope to have one then. Then i'll test it out.
