hi... ...let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.
You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"

You could try useing better media, b/c you know...TDK sucks a$$. Use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Sony Fuji and MAxell are fine so long as they are made in japan.
Is your drive an older model and is it mounted in a Dell?
The thread was a couple of years old.
I was astounded when I read it.I can't imagine anyone making a drive like that and even worse that Dell would make it part of a system, then I thought about the first dvd player I purchased.
It didn't work and it was a Philips.
no i'm not using dell. i just bought this rewriter recently and i installed it last friday.
is there any patches that can make it burn DVD+R and other formats.
if anyone can help i will appreciate it very much.
