K i think my gf got me the wireless networkt hing that xbox makes it cost 100 dollers. the problem i got is that the modem is in a nother room and not long enough. Does this devise that microsft makes make it so i can goi wireless? and no need of a wireless roouter?

if your modem is WIfi,then u need to set the ur xbox to read your modem,if not get a wireless router,

whast a wifi ? Mine is a dsl modem with just a usb and eithernet port nad a i/o power button.

so i gotta spend 150 bucks to go wireless? why not get a long ethernet cord and spend 20 bucks and do it that way?

like they said u would need a wireless router, i think there are some cheap ones u can find but like u said if its not really needed aend the cable doesnt bother u, then just go with a long ethernet cable
