can you tell me how dead pixel occurs cause i want to get a psp and how do you fix a dead pixel without warranty?

As far as i know it requires a lcd replacemnt, but i'm a photocpier/ATM tech, so i don't really know about screens, especially pixels, but becuase of teh way liquid crystal displays work, there's a set number of pixels "hard wired" into the screen, unlike a crt that can change it's pixel number. You can dislpay diff resolutoins on a lcd but they never look as good as the "native" resolution of the screeen.

I got one dead i thiknk it might actually be stuck, as it is always on againsta a dark loading scren, but you can't see it when there's colour there, and thankfully it's the very last pixel on teh edge of the screen in the upper left.


Not too fussed, this sorta thing happens with lcd, especially in a big screen that's portable...
