I am still attempting to create a DVD-5 from a set of AVIs with a decent looking, simple menu. Nero vision and DVD author did not suit my needs, so I decided to try DVD Lab which was wonderful in regards to a menu, but did not quite author the DVD ready files properly. THe result was as follows:

2 Folders:

AUDIO_TS > 'empty'

VIDEO_TS > containing: _menu.vob ; VTS_01.VOB ; VTS_01_1.VOB ; VTS_01_2.VOB ; VTS_01_3.VOB ; VTS_01_4.VOB

I decided not to burn with DVD lab due to inability to booktype... but went with NERO.

When loading files into NERO burder, I came across the following error:

"You have added DVD-Video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD-compliant disc. ....please use the DVD-video compilation type."

PS: Actually Nero will burn, I suppose, but I belive the DVD might not play. What do ya say? Thanx guys!

If there are No BUF or IFO files in the "Video_TS" then the DVD won"t Play properly or at all on your DVD Player.....

I have had simular a problem in DVDLab Pro if I didn"t Demultiplex My Video Files before Hand, I also have had Simular problems when trying to use Mpeg-1 Layer 2 audio Instead of AC3 audio but encodeing to AC3 solved that problem....

Are you useing the Basic Version of DVDLab or the Pro version?? The pro version is Much better....
