Once this is done, open up the PSP folder and then open up the Photo folder. Here, you will copy overflow.tif over, keeping it in the Photo directory and not a sub directory.
this is step 6 in thee 1.5 dwngrader i dont no wot 2 do and wanted to ask u guys if u knew b4 continueing??

You have to hook your PSP up in USB mode on your pc, go to the directory X:/PSP/PHOTO.
X: being the root dir of your psp, if the PSP or the PHOTO folder does not exist then create it.
Copy the overflow.tif file to the PHOTO folder, then exit USB mode and go into your photo viewer on your PSP.
Sorry, if that wasn't very clear.

Ok break down time....
1) you need to either update to Firmware v2.0 or to have Firmware v2.0 pre-installed. Should you unfortunaly have Firmware v2.01, v2.50 or indeed v2.60 installed. To put a Fine line on it, Your Fuxxed! EOS. No Homebrew for you.... Yet.
2) If you have v2.0 installed you need to copy the Two Files:
index.dat
h.bin
to the Root: (i.e.)
MP_ROOT*(depending on if you have anything listed under Movies or not)
PSP
MEMSTICK.IND
index.dat
h.bin
Then you can open the PSP Filder, now you should see:
GAME
MUSIC
PHOTO
SAVEDATA
You'd place the overflow.tif File into the PHOTO Folder. Should this not exist for any reasion. Make sure to have your MemoryStick Formated for use with the PSP?. Though the options Settings Page on the PSP?.
But, it sound to me like Point one already killed you!!

The only thing I could tell you to do then is to.
a) Redownload the MPH Downgrader, as you could have a duff copy?! <=(
b) Turn off any and or all Antivurus Software temporarly. As most are set to detect the overflow.tif as a Virus, which it is not!
Once you manage to get it working you should either see Three Line of Garbeled Text, or a Screen full of Garbeled Text. At which point you'll have to Force Reset the PSP?, by holding the Power Switch up, till the PSP? shuts off. Once you start it up again. You should have v1.00 displayed as your Firmware version. At which point you can then upgrade (i.e. downgrade, as the PSP? is still very much just a v2.00), back to v1.50 and run Homebrew, and the older PSP? Games' Libaray. (i.e. Non v2.0 Games),...

If it is 2.01 then you are stuck for now. You can figure out the version by going to the Settings/System Settings/System Information tabs.
