Does anyone know how to make AVI files into DVD files

hi

i have downloaded south park files from the net, they are avi files though

how do you convert them so that they can be burnt onto a dvd and then played back through a standalone

only done this a couple of times but it worked at default settings with tmpg, when its finished i had a video file and a audio file which i used maestro to author back to dvd.

use tmpg i use it all the time will take u around 6-8 hours to convert in to dvd format depending on system speed.then use a authoring tool to author and burn to dvd disk
