I am currently looking for a new burner, I have a plextor 740 that I just bought a few months back its working fine but my Optorite that Ive had for about 2 years it starting to wear out Ive probably burnt 700+ movies and 75+ PS2 games since Ive had it. Theres a few burners that I'm intrested in buying right now its the Lite-On SHW-1635S $65,Pioneer DVR-R100 $70,Sony DRU810 $80, or another Plextor $100. Which one should I pick. Any reccomendations. These are all really good burners its so hard to pick one out of the bunch

Get a BenQ DW1640 .. You like the Plextor PV740 and it is made by BenQ .. it's the same as the 1640 ... except the 1640 costs less ...

Thanks for all of your help everybody but I went with a LiteOn SOHW-1693S I got it at WalMart for $60. Ive burnt about 5 movies so far since Ive had it. Its working perfectly, just kind of noisy.
