okay a few people have been asking what the deal is with a laptop with a sawn off screen well here yall go.

At some point before i started my current job this laptop belonged to somebody else... Somebody who dropped the laptop on its screen (idiot)
The admin at the time thought well.. thats not covered by the warranty so he plugged the laptop onto a standard monitor to see if it still worked... which it did.

With this knowledge in hand the admin guy took out a hacksaw and cut the screen right off :O

Then i started my job.

and to save money rather than giving me a normal desktop computer i was given the laptop with no screen and a 17" CRT monitor

The laptop is now literally strapped to the side of the monitor ever since half the keys on the keyboard stopped working so i have a standard keyboard and mouse to use with it aswell.

so now you know why i have a laptop with a sawn off screen :P
