I recently aquired this game, and attempted to make a backup copy of it. I used a DVD decrypter and an ISO buster, then tried to copy it using nero. One of the items, data.pak was too large to be burned with the UDF/ISO option, the way I was instucted. Is there something wrong with my ISO buster or DVD decrytper, something I'm doing, or do I need to be using a different program than Nero?
I also found this issue with a few other games that I have not been able to copy. Thanks in advance.

Was always told use a DVD Decrypter, use an ISO buster on the ISO image, and then copy those files to a DVD. Do I just have to use a DVD Decrypter to put it on my computer, then the same program to put it on a DVD?

Basically use DVD Decrypter to extract files from original disc. When thats complete, you should have 2 files. One of them ending in mds,or something like that.First extract the game to your hard drive then you would burn the file using DVD Decrypter, picking the file that ends in mds. And thats all you have to do.It should work fine.Post back if you need any more help.

All I had in the first place was the ISO image. Extracting that gave me 7 items. Maybe I extracted onto my PC wrong? Is there any way to copy the game from this state?

Also, does it matter where I put the items when extracting the game?

My advice would be to make a new folder on your desktop(to assure its going to a place you can easilly find).Well if you dont have 2 files, just burn the iso image. And it shouldnt show you files. After extracting with DVD Decrypter, you should have a image file.Thats the file you would burn with DVD Decrypter.

Now I'm a bit confused. I can burn the ISO image easily, but about the .mds file... how does burning that work? It's only a few kb, how would that get the game on the dvd?

It's pretty much like a bin/cue file.When you pick the .mds file,it automatically puts everything together.Go ahead,try it.I'm 100% sure.

Don't worry about the MDS file if you are burning with Nero. You made the image with Decrypter and Nero can't read, MDS but DVD Decrypter does and needs it for ISOs made with DVD Decryper. You don't need ISO Buster unless the game have to be rebuilt. You can just rip this one and burn it.

The game dosen't need to be rebuilt at all. And if you burn with DVD Decrypter, pick the .mds file.
