Good morning,

I have tried all sorts of ways to fix this problem but I can't find the issue. I captured an even live through Windows MM2 with the audio. The audio was capture from an amplifier into the line-in on my computer. I was able to convert the WMV file to MPEG and play both video and audio fine on my pc. For some reason once I pull the files into Nero, create the dvd menus and burn the audio goes to crap. I can barely hear it on the dvd. I did this same process with a home made video but this time I added my own music files to MM2, created a DVD and burned with nero and I can hear the audio fine. So I thought maybe I need to pull the audio out before it's burned. Used TMPGEnc to code to get mpgeg and wav file. Pulled those into Nero, added menus and burned and still same thing. Audio is crappy. I can play this file on my pc fine in multiple dvd software but once I burn it with nero and put it on the standalone dvd plaer it sucks. I made sure it was putting it into an AC3 format when burning. Is it a problem with the audio embedded in the original file? I have an analog camcorder but again the audio is coming off of the sound system and I only get the quality loss once it's burned and only with this file. Any suggestions?
