What is psp homebrew software source code and what is it used for??

The Source Code, or the SDK??

A Souce Code is to my basic understanding the raw C, C+,C++ and or C# Code. Which in theroy could be modified, and recompiled. Some examples would be the Linux OS, or say Id's Quake 3 that was released last Fall.

A SDK (Software Developer Kit), is what you'd need in order to make your own Source Code. IIRC S0NY? would be glad to sell you One for about $8,000.00(USD), That will buy you all the Tools to allow you to make your own Games for the PSP.

In the case of the former, it means that you could take the Raw Code, and recomple it useing either S0NYs' SDK or PSP Teams' PSPSDK. to recomple the Surce Code for Quake 3 to the PSP. v1.50 seeing as there is no way to run it higher at this time....
