hi guys, i am fairly new to this, so any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. i have a psp with version 2 firmware on it, and would like to run iso's from my 1gb memory stick.

1)can i run games on this version, or do i need to downgrade? if so how?

2)do i need an emulator to run them, which is the best one to use?, do i just copy it onto my memory card?

1. For more info go to the "PSP FASTLOADER AND ISO" thread. it's 500 posts long, you must find something you need there.
2. HB ONLY on v1.50. 2.00 is a no-no. downgrade from 2.00 to 1.50 using the MPH Downgrader. Look for the downgrading thread.
2. You need an ISO LOADER. no, ISOs will NOT load by themselves, they do not have brains of their own and weren't invented by George Lucas (everything he thinks of has brains). You need an ISO Loader, like FASTLOADER, UMD EMULATOR, DEVHOOK or WAB LAUNCHER.
4. GTA, SOCOM and HUSTLE THINGYWHATEVERITSCALLED will NOT WORK.
5. You will give up your 2.00 features. (who cares? Homebrew! you can get most of them in HB! plus free games...)
6. Do NOT upgrade PAST 2.00 eg 2.01 2.50 2.60 or you will lose ALL CHANCES OF HOMEBREW and DOWNGRADING.
