They are video clip files, but i have had trouble with everything that i try to burn that i have downloaded. I use the winavi and it puts it into the video ts folder and then try to burn it but it always restarts the computer as soon as it starts to burn.

yes AnyDVD just runs in the background you dont have to do anything you will still burn with Nero,AnyDVD takes away the encryption so you can back up the dvd,and as i said uninstall DVD43.

the burner i am using at the moment untill my other one gets back writes at 1x but my other one i will be using by thursday writes up to 16x and the media i have to use with this one has to be DVD-R and i am using fujifilm, my other burner supports all media, so do you think that has something to do with it? If so what media should i use?

so that is the media i should use, and one more question when i am starting my burn with my files with Nero it asks me if i want to merge in one file or to treat them each as individual files, what does this mean and what is the best option? Thanks so much for your help

there is some contention with this question at the moment on AD.i'm in the group that says 4x is the speed you should be using. There is also another group who says 16x is fine.
It will come down to what you are comfortable with and with what success you have at 4x and then at 16 x .I cant decide for you but suggest you try all the different speeds.
heres the thread in question.
