Hello everybody! I just wanted to know if some people coud help me out. I might just be having a brain fart though ;) Anyways, what is the point of modding this time around? What can be done that hasnt been done before? Im not trying to be cynical cause I love the mod scene but I cant think of anything that makes me wanna solder god only knows how many wires to do some hombrewing. Maybe Im missing something and you guys could contribute your ideas/possibilities for this Modding generation?

Almost all the aspects of XBMC and XBMP are now integrated into the 360. My old xbox still plays all my emulators so I dont need any new versions for most of them.

Where Would you put a Switch board without it looking ugly and not blocking any air holes? (On/off, Bank1/2)

Here are a few possibilities I came up with:

Emulators: PS1 (added compatibility list)
PS2 (I know Im a dreamer)
Gamecube (I VERY HIGHLY doubt it though)

"Backing Up" Games: The only reason I would use this feature would
be to speed up load time since it would be on
the harddrive. I wouldnt dream of copying a game
this generation because the developers will
be/should be working hard to unleash the full
power and that is worth the price of the
game in my book. If its Shat then I'll rent it.

Ftp: Ummmmm.....custom gamer icons that could possibly get you
banned on live.
(I know there's xbconnect/kai but what about live market place and BC updates?)

Anyways Im just looking for some motivation/encouragement to enhance the modding excitement. Help me out guys and gals!!!

i swear the only reason ppl mod is because they want to copy their games then return them unlike most ppl i dont. i copy my games to my hard drive so i dont have to carry them around everywhere and i dont want to buy a whole new game if some1 breaks the original disks. >:O

well XBMC in my opinion is better than the media capabilities of the 360, and faster loading times and the ability to not have to carry the games around is cool, plus theres no risk of scratchin your games, and modding is fun, oh and i think dip switches would look ok in front of the hard drive especially if the leds color compliments ur case mod lol

if any one wants a gmail invite i got like 50
i support xbox 360
