DevHook + UMD Emu Question

I have a game that will only run through UMD not devhook alone. So I'm doing the following:

1) Loading demo disc in UMD, then going to system menu as the boot type.
2) Going to devhook and loading the game

the problem is that then I can only load the game I chose in UMD. Is there a way to go disc
free using this method or is this a known problem because it somehow permanently sets it
up to boot only that game.

also is this how these are supposed to be used? I don't understand the point of using both vs.
just one, because using one means having to use a disk. any help for using these two
together is greatly appreciated.

1. you must have a UMD in the drive, if that's what you mean.
2. Fastloader is instant load, UMD Emulator goes to the XMB to load the ISO at UMD, if that's what you mean.

Not entirely true, Devhook will load certain games without a UMD i had sucsess with Burnout legends, FIFA 06, ATV offroad amongst others and that is with no UMD in drive.
However if you Use fastloader v0.8 and no devhook with the UMD i have found that all my BAcked UP UMD's work perfectly!
