Hi Guys,

I wasn't sure where to post this question, but I have a Mad Dog 8x NEC DVD_RW 2500A USB drive. I would like to use booktyping to make my movies more compatible with DVD players.

Is there a booktype utility I can download for my drive out there anywhere? I use any dvd and 1 click dvd copy to back up movies can I use booktyping with that software.

Does booktyping/ bitsetting only affect +R media and not -R media.

You can try it with DVD Decrypter. At the bottom of Decrypter there is an Icon of a book at the bottom right side. Select it then select NEC, and then select your media that you are using.

Yes, booktyping can only be done to +R media.
