Is there anyway to play backups without mods or original bootdisk?

Say I have a backup of a bootdisk or something like that is there anyway to play backup disks on playstation 2?

All I want to do is use a backup of action replay max CD. I don't care about backup PS2 games.

Anyway to do this? or is it just hopeless and should I not even bother?

there is no way of making a burned game worked wiyhout a sawp disc, modchip, or gameshark.

ok, but the swapdisk can't be a backedup one that I made right? It has to be a real swap disk that I bought?

There's no way you can use backups without a modchip, swapmagic or a memorycard exploit. So either get one of those, or buy a real Ar Max...

You should do the mc exploit using ARMAX original disc if you don't want to install a modchip. And no, you can't play ARMAX backup on any ps2, the original has compressed sectors you can't achieve on a shop-bought cd-writer! - on top of all this, ARMAX deserves RESPECT for its contribution to the gamers world of cheats and ps2-nonmodchip-modification - that means BUY IT, $19 is nothing next to the service it gives.

Swap Magic is good, but cogswaploader.elf is far more versatile and comes free by download - this can be loaded on early versions of ARMAX or through the mc exploit you've installed using ARMAX.
