The only way i know (the long way round) is this :

Rip the dvd usesing dvdshrink ==> burn the dvd to a rw (or r disk [i use + rw]) or use img tool classic to turn the vobs into an iso image and use daemon tools to emulate it (it will then act like a normal dvd but without the stuff you cut off using dvd shrink) ==> use Eazy VCD to convert the dvd (off disc or off hdd via daemon tools) to mpeg ==> use psp video 9 to convert the mpeg to mpeg-4 and to put it onto your psp !

If you only want to convert dvd to mpeg, stop before psp video 9. The reason i shrink it and put it back onto dvd is because the end file turns out to be exactly the same quatitl but smaller and Vstrip (the Eazy VCD built in dvd ripper) is rubbish !
