Is there a way I can just get the audio from a dvd and burn it onto a cd to hear in my truck or any cd player?

The dvd is BLUE COLLAR COMEDY TOUR RIDES AGAIN

Thanks in advance.

You can convert the dvd into a popular video format (e.g. AVI, mpeg) with e.g. ImToo DVD Ripper, then extract the audio into wav or mp3 with e.g. Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter, then burn to cd.

I tried those programs but they can only do 50% of the job until you buy the keys to the program. Is there another way or another program that can do it all without having to purchase the program? I was hoping Nero 7 could do it but I can't find the option to anywhere.

Nero can do it. What you will need to do is convert the dvd to Nero digital that will give you a mp4 file. Then select make audio cd and select the mp4 file as source.

Easy way for you will be open start smart, In the drop down box at top make sure it is on dvd, point at film strip icon, then select convert dvd video to nero digital.

After that has converted the movie to nero digital it will still be a movie but will have an ac3 audio in it.

Then open start smart again this time select cd from the drop down at the top, point to the music note icon, then just select make audio cd. It will bring up burning rom ready for you to drag files in it. Browse to wherever you saved the mp4 file and drag it into the compilation window then click burn.
