[edit] this is really for peeps who don?t have v1.5 and non mac users. Mac users can download a prog called pdf2psp that does everything for you [edit] also sorry the pics are so big i cant seem to reduce them

After spending many, many, many hours (much to my boyfriends Extreme dissatisfaction) trying to get my pdf ebooks onto my psp in a half decent (readable) way. I finally came up with two options. So I thought I?d write all you non v1.5 people out there a guide, just in case you wanted to do the same.

For these guides I used (and you will need)

Adobe Reader 7.0 (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html)

Paperless printer 3.0 (http://www.rarefind.com/paperlessprinter/downloads.html)

An ebook in pdf format (for this I?m using Stephen Kings ? The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon)
You can get a free one from here (http://www.gutenberg.org/)

Word preferably a good one (not the free one you get with Xp) although I doubt it matters ? it?s just what I used

Step one

Download and install all the programs above

Step two

Load up your ebook in adobe reader 7

Step Three

Go to file then print

Pick Paperless Printer as your printer

Step Four

Click on properties then settings

Change page size to A5

then click ok

Step Five

Make sure you have the auto rotate ticked

Then click ok

You will get a little box up asking in what format you want to save click JPEG

Step Six

Browse for where you want to save it and then click okay

Now you want to manually put this onto psp (I say manually because progs like ipsp reduce the image sometimes cutting off your pics)

Your done you should now have a decent mostly readable file.

If that?s not good enough for you, you can go onto my second guide.

Guide two.

Open your ebook in adobe reader seven

Click on file

Then save as text

When its saved open the notebook file with Word

You want to change all your text fonts to ARIAL BLACK and 16

Now again go to file

Select your printer

then A5

Then click ok

You will get a little box up asking in what format you want to save click JPEG

Browse for where you want to save it and then click okay

Now you want to manually put this onto psp (I say manually because progs like ipsp reduce the image sometimes cutting off your pics)

Your done you should now have a very good easierly readable file

If anybody has anything to add

Say a better way of doing things I would appreciate the feedback
