RUNNING NEWER GAMES HAVING VER 1.5

hey guys i am new at this and was wondering what games (original UMD) need version 1.51 or above to play? And if we need to update, does it do so automatically when the game runs or you have the option to choose to update or not?? I am currently using ver 1.5 and do not wish to update, please help me out thanks

I know GTA requires 2.0, when you insert the UMD, it has an option to update. No update no game play its as easy as that, but in no way does it automatically update your firmware.

thanks appreciate your time to my response...anyone kno if there is a way to backup your original UMD game to the memory stick or computer, just wondering thanks

Hi there

there is plenty of advice on this site on how to back up your original games.

A big memory stick is the key - I have a 2gb which lets me have about 4-6 backups on it plus the sega genesis emulator and games.

Once you have the backups you can just swap the ISO's when ever you fancy playing a different game
