Yes, there is a whole load of software available...I use PSP video Express

first rip your DVD to an AVI file eg DVD Shrink, DVD Decoder or something.
THEN convert it to 470x170 pixels 16:9 MP4 PSP format with 3gp converter or pspvideo9. make sure it's filed at M4VXXXXX.MP4 and optional thumbnail M4VXXXXX.THM where X is a random number.

Place in ms0:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01

How do you make it an AVI file using DVD Shrink?

I'm only able to rip it into a .ISO file, and I can't convert it, cause converters don't reconize the file type.
