Hey There! Im backing up my PS2 games but for some reason I have sratches on the bottom. I put them in a protective case and all that but my games end up really scratchy for example Ill be playing RE4 and it takes awhile to get to the menu and back. Its slow. Is it the media Im using??? Im using Ridata DVD+R x4 media and Im using Alcohol 120% to back up games. Please Help!!!!!

Are they scratched before you burn to them, or do they get scratched after you insert them in your ps2 or dvd drive??

They get scratched after they are in the PS2. The dvd's are fine for backing up movies, but for backing up PS2 games it seems more difficult.

you may want to try different media
i always suggest a good DVD-R with 8X speed
then burn the game at 4X
i have yet to have a problem with that combo.
Tayo Yuden, Philips, Ritek, TDK, Verbatim
those are the most popular brands.
