Why is Limewire SOO SLOW

It loads up quick, but when I click on something it takes forever to actally do whatever I click on. Like one of the menus, say like File, when I click on that it takes a couple of seconds for the drop down menue. I am using Limewire on my new laptop.

I've never experienced that problem or any problems at all with LW, been using it for 4 months(1200 songs later), but just recently I switched over to Frostwire it a sister company of Limewire it even looks exactly the same. I find it even better than Limewire the download speeds seemed faster and had better search results for finding files but thats just me, so I recommend uninstall LW and download Frostwire you can check it out here. http://www.frostwire.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#FrostWire_Rele...

Well while frostwire is a good program, it may not catually solve your problem. What are the specs of your laptop and what version of windows (assuming it is windows) are you using? ~
