Hi, I have recently purchased a JVC video recorded, I have a collection of VHS tapes that contain programs that I have recorded over the years and I would like to transfer these tapes onto DVD using my DVD recorder.

I have connected a scart lead to the VHS Tape Machine output socket and the other end to the DVD recorder input socket, I have also tuned the DVD recorder to pick up the signal from the VHS Tape Machine.

When I play the tape I can see the content on the TV screen and I then press the play/record on the DVD Recorder, when the program is finished I stop the record and it is evident that the DVD Disc has burnt but it wont play back on the machine, or my PC DVD Player.

Any ideas to this problem will be welcome, what am I doing wrong ?
