Bit of a thick question re UMDEmulator/Fastloader

Whilst I'm, a PSP newbie, I'm very comfortable with PC teccie stuff, so the mechanics of ISOs, file structures, etc aren't a problem to me. However, being a PSP newbie, I know these are probably 2 really basic questions, but they don't seem to be in any of the threads or guides (and I've read quite a few in the last few days !!)

1. Do I always have to have a UMD Disc (film or game, either will do, from what I've read) in the drive when I'm running either Fastloader or UMDEmulator with an ISO ?

2. As some ISOs seem to run on Fastloader7 and some on UMDEmulator8c (which seems to be an updated version of Fastloader), provided I create the directory structure properly is it possible to have both utilities loaded on a memory stick without causing any conflict problems so you can switch between them in case an ISO works with one but not the other ?

1/ Yes, you just need any actual UMD (1 UMD game). I dont have UMD movie.

2/ Yes, you can put both in the same memory stick without any problems.

Use DevHook, that way you dont need a umd in the drive.

You can get DevHook from http://www.psp-hacks.com/

Just go to the Downloads section and then its under Loaders.

Devhook is really easy to use! :)

If, when you select the game you want to play and it just stays at a black screen...keep pressing circle. It should work after the third hit.

OMG !!! - I've just managed to get FIFA 2006 working, the image/screen quality is incredible compared to all the other hand helds I've EVER seen - it's almost on a par with PS2 stuff !! - is there any where which tells you what games work with 1.5 and UMDEmulater/Fastloader7/DevHook and which won't by any chance ?
