Help with Nero Recode and PSP

First of all Recode works great. I got a whole movie on my 1gig at about 644mb.....but how do I make that file smaller. I couldnt figure out how to work the software. Let me know.

Just choose custom (fit to target) and type the size in you want it to be.

when I do that there isnt a file type to choose.....but when i do it though "Recode DVDs and Videos to Nero Digital" I am able to find my file and do it......what am I doing wrong?

open up Nero recode, choose recode dvd and video to Nero digital. Select the MORE option to choose memory stick video PSP compatible.

Tick the 'fit to target', choose cutom. type in the size you want movie to be.

Then select the 'Import Files' button.

works every time for me.

okay great! that worked well....compressed 40 year old virgin into 350mb.......now I like to watch dvds at work and the volume is cranked and still hard to hear, do I lose volume when i make it a smaller file? can this be fixed?

you're ruining the quality by reducing the filesize.

Well u lose some on the video and audio when u compress it.

PSP was always poor audio volume wise anyway, if your working and watching videos, must be a great job you have.

Get a set of mini speakers, cost little to nothing, and your all set.

yeah....right once I posted that I thought of hooking up the speakers on the computer at work to the psp.....i just could watch a dvd on the computer but psp is much cooler haha.....im just tryin to fine tune everythin to rip movies for when i travel
