I had the duo2SE chip installed in my ps2 By a guy at a local electronics store that says he installed it and checked all the points. I burned the games using Decryptor. It is my first time, but I am familiar with the pragram. I use it to burn all my movies,and I followed the directions people have posted on this site. I've used Imation dvd+r,Sony dvd-r,& Khypermedia dvd-r disc. I've burned at the lowest speed. My ps2 says insert ps2 format disc. Can I be doing something wrong, or is it a bad chip/installation? Please help.
So you have a mod that can just play back-ups right from boot right?
Theres a program called Alcohol 120 % , use that for the image-burning process , you could have chosen a bad setting in decryter. Also for what I have noticed , some media types don't agree with certain speeds, like my memorex 8x dvd-r's , I can't burn on 2X speed or it will ruin the game , always 4 or 8 , I know it sounds stupid but try burning at a faster speed, like either half of what the disk is able to do , or the full amount the disk can do.
