I am having problem running the "actual" UMD Game for Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (Australian Version). I have tried using SXT version changer, Fastloader v0.7 and UMD Emulator v0.8c. And yes i did downgrade my PSP from v2.0 to v1.5.

I have even tried dumping the UMD onto my 2GB mem stick, then run the ISO with Fastloader (it didn't work), then UMD Emulator (same thing). I used SXT version changer, and it still gave me error (FFFFFED3)

So I just want someone to confirm it whether I can actually run the "Actual" game (PES5 Australian Ver) on my v1.5 PSP without updating to v2.0 to play it.

Thank you guys,
Steverino

I'm pretty sure Pro evolution is 2.0 firmware (not fake 2.0 firmware cause of encrypted files) to play actual umd.

The iso backup needs to be patched to run on 1.5.

So are you saying that PES5 is like other PSP games that has some sort of encrypted files like GTA, SOCOM ...?

So basically I cannot dump the image onto my memstick and play it with "loaders" UNLESS i patched the game image?

What other ways that i can get PES5 working on my PSP? (apart from upgrading my PSP back to v2.0)

Thanks,

To libenja: I have tried using the SXT Version Changer to change my PSP version, but it still wouldn't work.
