I'm looking for help on this but can't find the info in any other thread.

I have a 1GB memory stick so I was wondering if it was possible to upload a game that was bigger than 1GB using Fastloader (or any other program)? I've tried uploading it in parts with autopause - for instance I tried uploading it in 3 parts, then moving each part off my memory stick and onto my PC while it was paused, and then resuming the dump, figured that would leave enough room on the card to upload all 3 parts but it didnt work. I activated the USB connection through Fastloader to establish the connection.

If anyone knows how to do this please respond, I need to know fast! Aprpeciate it.

nope, it's just like any other hard drive you can't have more on it than what it can hold. What game are you trying to put on your mem. stick anyway?

a couple actually, tiger woods, mlb, ssx on tour, gta, etc (but i know gta needs 2.0 firmware so that wasn't gonna happen anyway). 2gb cards are going for more than i want to pay on ebay but i guess i'm gonna have to take the plunge sometime anyway. that's disappointing to hear but thanks for your help guys, appreciate it.

Yes there is a way.
Ex the game is 1.8GB
use umd dumper or fasloader to rip it into a 1GB memory stick.
So you have to split it into 2 iso: game1.iso 900MB and game2.iso 900MB.
Then use some programs to merge that 2 files together.
Then shrink it. Otherwise, it wont fix in your 1GB memory stick.

Damn, a lot of hassle works. I sugget to buy 2GB memory stick.

You have to move the first part off the card before starting the second part right? otherwise there wont be enough room on it. I tried doing that but when I looked on the PSP folders I couldn't find the first part of the dump, I checked the ISO and ISO_SPLIT folders and there was nothing. So I SHOULD be able to get the first part of the dump off the card before starting the second part is what you're then?

yes, when the first part done, transfer it from root of memory stick to PC. Then continue to rip the second part.
