I had azureus giving me green smilies even though the test yielded an NAT error. I was kinda confused what to set things to because I have two routers. Those being the DI-524 (connects bros computer, other cable goes to other router with my 2 pcs) and the Linksys BEFSR41-v3. I had it set correctly apparently using portfowarding.com Heres screens of what I had to set:

and

I had no firewalls enabled. I used this thing for like 2 weeks with green smilies. I visited a site which initiated a script and auto-installed stuff (finally after a year of no firewalling I get bit in the ass) and it installed the "spysheriff" virus along with whatever else chain linked to it. I'm assuming thats why I'm getting NAT errors again, maybe they messed something up or I deleted something I shouldn't have. I have went to network connections, repaired my connection, reset the routers and info, and this time I set a static ip (it stayed the same mostly anyways but just to see if it would work). Nothing has helped.

I just used the ipconfig on both routers. Again, this was working awhile. The other router not directly attached to mine might be acknowledging my pc as a different ip on itself? I'm not sure but I didn't touch the damn thing I think. If nothing else maybe point me out to what I need so I know if I accidently deleted something. I was very careful to search on google to see if something was a virus though (for hijackthis).

thanks in advance for any help to this crazy problem... :(

@lakecity

hi , if you have installed a fire wall which one is it ? this really could be your problem or your AV is blocking the connections .

Can i just ask how you got rid of the virus ? online scanner / own AV so on ?
